Service Description

In this course you will learn over 4 weekly 60 minute sessions easy to remember techniques to help you manage your moods, anxiety, sleep and wavering confidence levels This course is in a virtual group set up to be a safe space to discuss, share and learn. Each week, we will go through a different section of our acclaimed Menopause course to help you navigate your way through the mental aspects of your menopause. You know yourself better than anyone and we have the tools to help you makeover your mental health during this time of mind and body changes. All courses are supported by handouts to download and use to practise what you have learned to change your ongoing menopause experience. The better you feel, the brighter your day becomes… BEATING INSOMNIA is the first session because getting enough sleep underpins a balance lifestyle. We’ll teach you easy to remember exercises to put you into a relaxed state of mind or, if waking up in the night, we’ll give you the exercise to go back to sleep immediately, rest assured. You can attend this course as part of the Basic Menopause Mental Makeover Course or as an individual standalone course. REMOVE BRAIN FOG is the second module in our four week programme and is designed to support you with exercise to help you clear your mind, feel refreshed and lose those overwhelming feelings which can lead to stress. You can attend this course as part of the Basic Menopause Mental Makeover Course or as an individual standalone course. OVERCOMING ANXIETY is the third part of our Basic Menopause Mental Makeover Course and we are especially proud of the opportunities this one hour sessions gives you to change how you feel and respond to situations which, previously might have made you anxious. We really look forward to this session in the course because we see the changes this session brings to our clients and read their comments when they tell us how they feel after a few weeks. You’ll get more out of the course by practising the tools we teach you each week using the hands outs provided. Jo is an experienced complimentary therapist having been working in the field for over thirty years and is passionate about supporting clients to live their lives well both physically and mentally.  She lives in Plymouth with her dog, cat.  


She has three wonderful almost grown-up children who are making their way in the world and when not working with clients, has adventures at her newly acquired allotment plot and getting away in her campervan.

How did I manage to go from Aerospace Engineer to Hypnotherapist / NLP Therapist and how does solving problems in engineering relate to helping people overcome physical and psychological issues in their lives, quite simply because I crashed into the field of therapy, while riding my motorcycle one day. After my first encounter with NLP Therapy and the Hypnotherapy sessions after, helped me to realise just how easy it is to overcome almost anything with the right tools and techniques, from the pain of physical amputation, the change of identity (not being the same person anymore) right through to the emotional rollercoaster, referred to as PTSD. Having a can-do approach, to all most anything in this life, I am a great believer in the fact that, people are not broken, they simply haven’t been shown, guided or had the chance to experience the feelings, they think are missing from their lives and its this passion, that drives me to help and guide other people, to become better than they were before, this is what I live for.
